What is the session fee?

The session fee covers the time in the studio and is due at booking to secure your date.

All framing, packages, and prints are purchased additionally.

What happens during the pre-shoot chat?

It's our first chance to get to know each other! We can meet in person (if possible), on Zoom, or over the phone. I'll explain what to expect when you come into the studio, and we'll chat about style ideas, as well as what clothes and props you might want to bring to the session.

How can I view my portraits?

With the ‘See me’ package , you'll get access to a private, password-protected online gallery where you can review and select your favorite images for printing and framing. For the other packages, we’ll schedule a viewing and print/frame appointment to go over the different options.

You don't need to decide on a package or how many prints or framed prints you’d like to purchase until after you've seen your photos and chosen your favorites.

There's absolutely no pressure to buy a package after your session if you decide not to.

How many photos do I receive?

Depending on your package, you can receive up to 8 portraits, all retouched and in high resolution. We always prioritize quality over quantity to ensure you get the best results.

You can also order additional prints or framed prints from the Printing and Framing price list at any time.

When will I get my prints?

This can vary depending on the time of year (the lead-up to Christmas can be a bit busier ...). On average, I aim to have your prints ready within 2 to 4 weeks.

Where are the prints framed?

At Studio D, I have a fully equipped picture framing workshop, so I can frame your portraits any way you like. During our design consultation, we’ll look at the different options together, and I’ll take care of the rest!

What if I'm running late for my shoot?

No rush! But if you're more than 15 minutes late, I may need to reschedule your session to avoid conflicts with other appointments.

What's your cancellation policy?

The session fee is non-refundable.

You can reschedule your appointment one time.

After two cancellations, you pay the session fee again to book a new appointment.
