Capturing moments and creating meaningful stories behind every image
My journey began as a teenager, developing black-and-white prints in the darkroom of my parents' attic. Being dyslexic, I've always been drawn to the visual world around me. I went on to study TV Production Technology and spent 7 years working in the television news industry. After that, I started my own production company, working as a producer, camera operator, and editor, and spent over 20 years honing my craft. Throughout these years, I continued creating Fine Art prints, celebrating the powerful landscapes around me.
For the past few years, I've been focusing on Fine Art portraits in my home studio in Queenstown. Although it’s a modest space, it helps people feel relaxed and at ease, and I really like that about it.
Photography has shaped both my career and my life, reminding me daily of the beauty found in the world and the people around me. Whether I'm capturing the majesty of nature or the intimacy of human connections, my goal is to spark a deep sense of meaning and reflection in those who view my work.
Photography isn't just a hobby or profession for me—it's a profound way of seeing and understanding the world, one image at a time.
